Annicita, I love the smell of garlic and I'm sure I use it too much.

Good morning
Thank you, I am glad that you liked the idea. I didn't have any sauce leftover for freezing, but I love that idea as well. I normally freeze extra soup and sauces for later use too. It was freezing here yesterday as well, but today is sunny and warm considering what time of year it is. Your sauce sounds delicious. I do add mushrooms as well as onions, crushed garlic, red pepper flakes, and plenty of Italian herbs. As for blood donations, not only does it help those in need of it, they also give you a free COVID test. It's a win-win all the way.

I've often heard when it's super cold out that it's too cold to snow. I guess most snows don't happen under 20 degrees.
I'm well-aware of the blood shortage. As an incentive, the Red Cross is offering donors in the month of January the chance to win two Super Bowl tickets. As a platelet donor, I'll get two cracks at it.

That meal sounds really tasty. I expect it is miles apart from the tinned product that
we occasionally need to use.

Re:
Ciel, Cleveland winters can be brutal! It's even worse if you are down by the lake. The family came in and had big bowls of spaghetti. It was perfect for a day like today.

Pat, I would be so happy to have you here for dinner! We could visit and enjoy the food. It would be wonderful. Then we would both have a new memory!

That's how I remember Cleveland winters: Bitter cold days with more-than-welcome sunshine. I remember it rained in every month, too.
Your spaghetti sauce sounds delicious! Sometimes spaghetti is the exactly right thing!

I would love to sit in a corner of your kitchen and just breathe in the
beautiful scent of spaghetti sauce. Days are long gone since I used to make batches of it and can it, using tomatoes, peppers and green onions from my garden. Thanks for the memories.

We are supposed to get a record high today of over 60 degrees. I'm getting ready to go out in a bit.
