Re: Re: Good Evening Goldiec

I hope you stay in the house where it's warm and cozy.  When It's raining it's best to stay in the house so you don't catch a chill.

Re: Re: Thank you, C_C_T, my mum does have the gift...

Of course, she lives out west where she gets very little snow. Her only enemy is the deer who love to dine on her flowers. As for the Phlox, I love them too.

Re: Good Afternoon Sassy

They are a fave in the cut flower trade. I like the phlox. The scent is fab. Your Mum has the knack. Sweet peas can be awkward. One must keep picking them, or they go to seed.

Re: Pat

Of course, your Mother needed to grow things as many did. I know she was stern but

women had to be in those days. Yes, it does make a difference to plants we cannot

grow indoors except for one small upstairs window. That window does seem to be

plant-friendly,

Re: Taps

Well I keep writing to try to keep the mind working. Rather forgetful but it comes to us all. Always nice to hear from you.

I love growing things, but I don't do so well anymore trying to do it myself.  Your poem is fascinating.  Your mind is alive and active and your writings always worth reading.

It's been another COVID winter thus far. I'll be glad when the pandemic portion is in the rearview mirror...Uncle Albert is the philosophical sort.

Good Evening

I think all the work will get done before long.

Some people have a green thumb, everything they plant or

cultivate seems to thrive. Mine is not. Perhaps there's not enough natural light coming in the windows of this old house, because my house plants did well in the other location, but they all droop and turn brown in this place. I remember my mother's flowers would have been just the thing on the cover of a seed catalog.

Good afternoon

I am a fan of Sweet Peas and Phlox. Maybe because my mother grows them with ease.
