I've had encounters with those so called do gooders. I was told I wasn't allowed to let my kids go with the ex. I told them to give me court papers saying so. He refused. I refused. I knew what would happen to me physically and mentally if I had complied. I called his sister and she talked with him and then he called me. Ugh!

I hope you and your brother do become neighbors - my little sis lives 2,000
miles away, we communicate by email mostly (both of us in our 80s now) and it would be so good if we could get together for coffee once in a while.
