Thinking of you and your squirrels, as I spied a new visitor coming by for the second time, sipping from the water dish and checking the dried out plants for seeds. I put out some old walnut meats--don't know if he will care for them.

I wish we had red squirrels ours are almost all grey. A few reds exist in odd places
but most have been nobbled. I did see a woman once skinning greys presumably
for a stew pot, as bad as eating roadkill . '

Good Morning
Kabu, after I posted my comment I looked out the kitchen window and a squirrel was looking for something. It was one squirrel all by himself but I was happy that he stopped to visit. As I was watching the squirrel a bird flew by. I'm very excited. I'm not sure where they've been but they were here this morning.

I've been seen a lot of squirrels lately. They're getting ready for winter in a hurry...I'm sure Mr. Graysome wishes he had thumbs so that he could go outside and get the mice.

Good Morning
I love watching the squirrel play but I think ours have moved away and our birds followed them to warmer pastures. The deer are still here and we've been feeding them but for the most part, they remain in the woods at the back of the property. I have two loaves of bread on the table to take in the back. They are always excited to see us coming.

Good evening
They are a blast to watch while they are playing. They visit our yard to dine at their daily buffet, but they haven't been playing much lately. We have been seeing quite a few Blue Jays, and one possum and the Cardinals are back again. I believe that they are all busy preparing for the cold months.

I think my backyard squirrels may have decamped to Omaha once
they discovered Kabu and the gnomes were settling there.
