Re:

FSI, I feel the same way.  Winter wonderland scenes are the best!  There are times when we have very mild winters but then there are times when we are snowed in.  I'm not sure what's going to happen this year!

Re:

Annicita, it should be out soon.  She is the best writer.  I just love her style.

Re: After a gloomy but a bit warmer day yesterday, the temp dropped

Pat, I'm glad you have a lot of your groceries for Thanksgiving.  That pecan pie sounds so good.  I'm the only one that likes pecan pie so I never get one because I can't eat the whole pie by myself.  They keep reporting that there are going to be shortages so we are trying to get everything we need just in case.  Stay warm!

Re:

Ciel, the wind is blowing and it's cold outside.  Winter is on its way!  I've never had a vegan roast.  I love turkey and all the sides for Thanksgiving.  We are going to have Ham too.

Re: Good morning

Sassy, I hope you enjoy your lunch.  Our salad was very good.  Enjoy shopping.

Glad you are O.K. I really can't remember when Thanksgiving is. I do know that the

President saves a Turkey or usually does.

Pretty soon the snow will be sticking. I'm looking forward to some winter wonder land scenes.

I'm waiting for the latest Stephanie Plum tale.

After a gloomy but a bit warmer day yesterday, the temp dropped

to 42 overnight. Sun's out this a.m., which makes it nice for driving to the store. Now have half or more of the Turkey day fixin's in the freezer, including a frozen pecan pie and a ready-to-bake turkey breast. News reports said there might be shortages of the traditional items, but shelves & freezers seemed well stocked. Enjoy your read and your hot chocolate.

Temps here today are pretty much like yours, but Monday promises to be warm, in the 70s!

I have also begun to consider what's going to be on the table for Thanksgiving. At Trader Joe's yesterday I picked up some cauliflower/broccoli au gratin, and their version of a vegan roast which I'd like to try--though there is also likely to be some poultry as well.

It's a warm day, but I guess that it's our last.

We are also expecting snow over the weekend. After the initial shock, I will accept it for what it is. The snowflakes will have officially arrived, showing off their beauty.

Good morning

We are having a similar day to yours. We are headed out to the bank, shopping, and then a late lunch. Salad is one of my favorites. Thanks for the idea. Have a great day.
