When my parents decided to switch the menu to Mexican food, people in St. Louis weren't used to it and didn't like it as much as when they adapted the recipes or americanized them somewhat.

Good afternoon
Cell phones are still somewhat of a mystery to me. I really hate them, but they are a big deal if you wish to communicate with the world. 90 degrees is definitely a hot day. We have had thunder boomers and lightning since last night. It is cooler here today. I had a suspicion that Outback Steakhouse wasn't as authentic as they want patrons to believe. I am not a fan of steak, but I have tried their lobster crab cakes, spinach artichoke dip, and the Alaskan King crab. It was really good. John had their New York Strip steak with sauteed mushrooms which he inhaled, so it must have been good. They do have luscious Caesar salads too. We are huge foodies, so we restaurant hop quite a bit, but our preference is old diners with a deep history, and heavily laced with nostalgia.

Technology was supposed to make our lives easier, not so much these days, unfortunately...That was quite a scare when he yelled.

Well, he does seem a rather nice guy. It could have been a disaster. I expect to are a breath of fresh air to the whole situation. Be happy.

Stories like this make me more anti-cell phone than ever. I get
all the frustration I need from my land line and the constant robo-callers. Roses? Now that was nice.

Kabu, for a hot day I'd say it ended up being a good day. I think not having to put your password in every time turned out to be a success and then steak and flowers! This is what I call a nice day! I hope you have a wonderful day and that it cools off.

Wow, that's really hot there. We will get the heat here by Thursday. Today was like winter. All weekend was like winter. How lovely you got the roses! That was very nice. You have me worried about getting a new phone because Verizon or whoever they are said my phone is being "retired" and I have to get a new one. I was looking forward to it, as much as one who is tech-challenged can do so but now I am hesitant. You have a lovely day ahead. And yes, I'm sure Wiley is close by.
