You say it correctl. It was typically only in England of those times. It was actually a shortening in less than 350 words the poem by Wordsworth almost 200 lines of poetry. Thank you, Sir.

In my fathers time, we had what was called a Workhouse. A tramp could enter in the evening and put most of his clothing in an oven. I suppose it was a way of killing any fleas or similar insects. I expect in Wordsworth's time one in that position would have to shelter in a hedge or if a farmer was benevolent in an old barn. A massive piece of writing, Thank you.
