Unless you aren't an extremely pure-hearted, tears of boy 👦 doesn't come. Moreover since you're a great poetess yourself I know you to be full of sensitivity. No wonder, therefore. Aur aapki poetry Ka toh Kehna hi kya, bahut,bahut, bahut sundar about dil ok choone wali hai. Kya baat hai 👊🏿🤕😵🧠🙏🏻

Ah!! I have shed tears in awe, wonderment, ecstasy, joy on many, many occasions... driving in Sikkim to Nathula Pass years back, the landscape all white with snow brought tears of ecstatic joy to my eyes.Then in the sanctum sanctorum of Kashi Vishwanath temple in Varanasi I was transported to only He knows where..और आंखों से झरझर आंसुओं की धार बह रही होगी क्योंकि जब वापस आई दुनिया में तो शिव लिंग से कई फूल माला देते हुए पंडित जी बोले... देवी धन्य हो ... ऐसे अनगिनत बार होता है.... sometimes it's embarassing... people around you wonder & stare...

कभी अपने इन आंसुओं पर एक कविता भी लिखी थी...
क्या धो रही है आंखें
क्यों बह रहें हैं आंसू
रास्ता है कोई
जिसको बुहारती हैं

बस में नहीं है मेरे
मैं जानती नहीं हूं

Crying sometimes is the only relief one has left, it does release certain chemicals at times, well I have found it so. I suppose most of it we do attribute to sadness.
Although as you point out tears of joy are a different ball game.
