It is so troubling to think that the virus is back in Australia. I'm hoping that this will be over sooner than later. I'm so glad you got to spend time talking to your son. I hope you have a good day. I'm so excited to hear where you are moving to? I think Mr. Graysome will be fine as long as he's with you.

How nice to see a loved one from so far away. It does appear to be not so good in Australia. As you say the darn virus can travel across the world. No country is really safe. I shall be pleased to hear the restrictions are lifted here . Although it is still wise to take care now this other virus is spreading.

I think FB and other social media have been lifelines
for so many of us who live long distances from kids, grandkids, etc. We get to see how they grow and change, they get to see us, messy hair or all dressed up and ready for company. It makes all the difference between loneliness and isolation and a sense of being connected. BTW, you should not be risking a fall by hauling furniture up and down the stairs...

Phones are lifelines these days... can't imagine survival without them in the current situation and a great way to stay connected with kids and family wherever they are...
