It is an amazing bridge. If you are driving a car, the fee to cross is $4 each way. As much as the state would love to have that revenue, the money is poured back into upkeep. It is in a constant state of upkeep, repair, and painting, which is why it is in such excellent repair. The more 'axles' on your vehicle, the higher the crossing fee.
Which island? Mackinaw or Grand? Grand island is on the west side of Munising. It is a beautiful place!
