I love the back yard squirrel stories. I never tire of them as I watch my own misbehave. What about short chapters recommending a read before sleep book Endind each short chapter on the Cliff hanger.Children would enjoy that as would an oldie like me.

I suppose it could be a kind of overkill, Small episodes delight by the character involved and the consequence. Take care.

Good Morning
I love the Backyard Squirrels! Since I've read your stories I'm always trying to name the animals that come through our yard. Yesterday a little bird was splashing away in the birdbath. He was making quite a mess. I loved watching him through the kitchen window. If he comes back I might name him Splash. He does like to have fun in the water.

Those cliff-hangers are the best. I too am sick of the political rhetoric. I love reading your fascinating stories that stray away from the negative crap that is happening in the world.
