Kabu, I know your gnomes want to stay where they are but I do believe they will be happy in their new home. Make sure to have lots of treats for them on moving day. They will be delighted.

yes it seems to be a Universal characteristic of the Gnomes. They tease the fairies up here as well if i am not around. Though I must say everyone is rather quiet this Summer. They don't want me to sell I believe.

Sassy, Oh my! That's not good that the deer were eating your flowers. I really didn't know that they would like watermelon rinds but there is one particular deer that Roy said seems very underweight and he loves the watermelon rinds.

Ciel, a day in the 100's is too much for me. I can't handle that kind of heat. You are so fortunate that you can go to your lower level. I'm one of those people that heat makes me sick.

How nice, a day in the 70s! It's hot here, though not as hot hot as farther west and southwest. If it does get 100s hot, I will hang out downstairs where the temps are 10-15 degrees lower than upstairs!

Sassy, I was just telling Roy this morning that you feed your backyard animals pasta and they love it. We are always putting out bread and there's one deer in the back that Roy said loves the watermelon rind. Who knew?

It is a bit cool here today too.
I forgot to add that green beans are another favorite of his. Tonight I am making lasagna and garlicky cheese toast, just to shake things up a bit. The hamburger diet that John has been on needs a break. My fairies are running around the yard too. They were shocked by the events from the night before. We had major action in the yard after being visited by seven raccoons. Two of them were babies. I did a refrigerator clean out with the leftovers from the Father's day BBQ. They apparently love pasta and potatoes. Of course, they had their marshmallow treats as well.
