I have a magpie it comes and clears the cat's plate. I know the rascal had some

blackbirds eggs as the shells were plain to see. I had one as a pet when I was a boy

but like most things, I probably got tired of it and it flew off one day.

I always wanted a crow and I nearly had one once a young one flew down and I

scrambled down into a ditch to capture it,, but two massive adults swooped down at

me and that ended my hopes.

There are some loud red-headed birds here that are very annoying so I know what you mean. Hope they fly off!

My Crows are noisy but they have look outs high in the trees and they warn all creatures if danger approaches so I appreciate them.

Good Afternoon

Ciel, we have one bird in the yard that's louder than any other bird.  I guess he wants to be heard.

I think the crows are remarkably intelligent, but jays not so much.

I also prefer the gentle doves - a pair of them share the backyard here with the squirrels and occasionally there's a brown rabbit who comes to nibble clover.
