My son Rich did a lot of barbecuing last summer, but I don't think
he's into it much this year - he's watching his red meat and fat consumption, thanks to some health issues - and it's hotter than the hinges on the gate to hell around here this week, so he'll probably stick to meals he can cook inside the air conditioned kitchen.

Good afternoon
BBQ day sounds like fun. You are lucky that you caught that cut on sale. My hubby loves filet mignons cooked well done. Not an easy task with their thickness, but seared, and then cooked slowly in butter, it works out. We gather on Thursdays too, but we either do pizza or subs since it is live concert day in our borough with dancing in the streets.
