Re: Re: Re: Thank you. We planted ours near the fence too.

Sassy, I've never roasted the seeds.  What do they taste like?

After the birds attack the heads I roast the remaining seeds for John, that is if there is anything left to roast.

Re:

Kabu, I can't wait to see pictures of your flowers.  I know they will be beautiful!  Be careful of the bears!  That thought scares me.

Normally up here I don't put flowers out for another week but it is so warm and nothing bad in the forecast.

Re: I learned to make stuffed green peppers in home ec class, way back when.

Pat, I hope you are right and the weather stays warm.  I just got everything folded and put away.  The blankets are ready for the next chilly season.  I love green peppers.  I could eat them every day and never get tired of them.

I learned to make stuffed green peppers in home ec class, way back when.

I used to love them. Can't remember the last time I cooked them, but it's been at least ten or 15 years. I hope your warm weather holds up and you don't have to dig out those blankets for one more chilly spell.

Re: Good morning

Sassy, I hope Roy plants the tall sunflowers along the back fence of the garden.  They look so cool.  They tower over all the plants.  Your yard is so awesome.  You really have it nice.

Re:

Corbin, we are in the suburbs but only about 12 miles from Cleveland.

Good morning

My flowers appear to be thriving in the sun as well. We just planted 6' tall sunflowers today that should bring the yellow birds to our yard. Today we spotted baby squirrels, but I can't get a picture of them. They are too skittish.
