Well, Van Gogh in my life has been a paper on Don McLean's 1972 song and dining everyday alongside a wall mural of Starry Starry Night, served by the artist, and interviewing the owner and him about Van Gogh's Ear Cafe and the mural. So, I hear you.

I Went into a full discussion on that topic yesterday. Starry, Starry Night is worth a billion, US! And he had to always borrow money from his brother to live. His mind was a mental mess of torment. Mona Lisa, in contrast, is valued at “only” 1.3 mil! Supposedly.
I imagine he would cry - from the happiness of validation that his work had merit after all. He didnt make the cut for showings in the French Art salons of the time, I think. The tragedy of genius...

The venues hadvto be adjusted due to Covid. It’s been all over and I don’t know what the final plans will be for it. S great experience- just so far away.
