It will be so satisfying, I'm sure, when the fan works and the woodwork is done, and there's a new door... Stuck at home so much, just a few changes mean so much!

They sound really nice and I have heard that building materials are becoming quite scarce this year. This year....the one to forget.

From 1 to 3...
days but at least they promised you to catch the parts you need. They're out of stock, but they didn't just give you something else (might be worse).
I hope everything is good. Or at least, it will be.
Stay safe.

It is a pleasure when workmen try their best, I always thought that dust kind of got to a certain level and then just remained the same.

It is good that you have a great ability to endure difficult situations.
My hubby sometimes works for his brother's construction company. I have learned from helping them out that dates, plans, orders, and actions are subject to change and do not often go smoothly unless all the players are on board together. Backorders are a big issue. As for the dust, my house is always clean with the exception of dust and cobwebs. For whatever reason, I just cannot keep up with those two irritating oversight. Sigh.

I well know that dust thing. It keeps me so busy here trying to keep up with it. It is a never-ending circuit from one room to another. I never did understand where it comes from. So, I asked my computer and got the answer...I didn't much like the answer but now I know: https://allergystore.com/blogs/news/where-does-all-the-dust-in-your-house-come-from

I'm so glad you are getting your work done around the house. I know it's a good feeling to check things off your list that needs to be done. The workers sounded very nice and the best part was that they knew what they were doing and that is priceless.
