Re: I second Pat's comments on this matter.

Your neighbor was attempting to be very unneighbourly.

I remember you talking about that earlier. Good, you didn't pay what you don't owe. I'm guessing they are on hard times and decided to overbill to make ends meet. If they had been upfront about it...who knows.

Confrontation is very stressful to me, too. I'm glad that you did not end up having to pay that $150 you did not owe.

And now you'll have the satisfaction of knowing the new snowplow

crew will have to pass by your cranky-pants neighbor and rub it in that she's not making any money taking advantage of you. So there, too!  Be safe.

I sure hope so

I hope you're okay, and that you don't have to worry anymore.

Crossing my fingers everything will be fine at your place.

Have a wonderful day my dear friend.

Not looking forward to cleaning Ice and snow off of the car.  At least a service plows the parking lot and roads.  But mostly i think I will just enjoy staying in and keeping warm.

Kabu, you are such a kind person. I'm so glad Trish helped you find someone to plow your drive.  I know that is a big relief for you.  I'm glad you don't have to deal with the neighbor.  I really think that is for the best.  Now that my daughter Michelle is working from home I'm not as worried about the driveway as I was. If the weather is bad Roy can get out of the drive because he takes the truck when it snows.  We do have the plow on the John Deere for when Roy is home.  I thought about getting a plow service like you but it's so expensive and Roy didn't like that idea.

We had a really big storm come through here around two o'clock and the winds got up to at least 70 miles an hour.  The winds sounded so scary in the house.  It got dark and we lost our phone and computer but it's back on again.  It's starting to look really dark outside again.

I hope you have a nice afternoon.
