Well I am doing my under bench cycling as I reply to you. So I cannot keep it up for too long.

Re: Pat,

Ah yes, I know that one, too! I live in a split-level, so there are stairs which come into play on the high-exercise days when I do laundry.

Re: Shams-i-Heartsong,

Good exercise for the soul...?  Meditation, for bringing soul and body into harmony; Introspection, for insight and self-awareness.

Re: Sea Gypsy,

Yes, it is better for the brain than watching tv! Some movies and few shows actually stimulate much thinking, let alone activity!

I have never, since school days, kept much to schedules. I think it has something to do with an aversion to authority and discipline. An explanation, not an excuse. But I do seem to be keeping my A1C numbers fairly low.

Re: Goldiec,

And your comments always cheer me up! I only play the one game--I am not addicted to it the way I was the first years I played it, but I can't afford to get addicted to another!

Your post reads like my day - at the computer with games or blogs

except that I do stop for nutrition regularly. My exercise regime is much like the one you describe so perfectly. Another one is the retracing steps routine when I forget why I was going into that other room and have to get back to the starting point before I remember.

What is a good exercise for your soul?

Well, that's great exercise for your brain, becoming immersed in the games! But you must take care being a Diabetic to schedule your meals and snacks properly. Diabetes affected my mother's ability to walk and it was not always easy, I remember.

Ciel, your posts are so delightful!  They make my day!  I have two games I play on my tablet but usually only very early in the morning.  I hope you have a good night
