South of the Border...

** Yes of course it all started with Mexico being South of the USA border...the song says so...but in Australia in NSW. South of the border is Victoria with Melbourne as its Capitol city. People in NSW. call Victorians either Mexicans or say that they are South of the Border. So...It just seems appropriate for me to say the USA is South of our Border. Just a bit of fun at an extremely nervous time I have been praying yesterday and continue today for you all for a peaceful end to this nail biter.

** To keep my mind busy and yes to annoy someone, I woke up a couple of Gnomes and am fixing up their torn and dirty clothing. They created quite a fuss which amused me no end with other Gnomes coming out of their stupor and trying to hide from me. It's OK guys. I may leave you until the Spring...or not. I must say how much better they all look with smart new Coates and hats and their boots all shined and fresh.

Mr Graysome is sticking to me very closely. He even lets me give him a cuddle and will purr while we touch noses and I kiss his face. He isn't a cuddle puss, never has been But I suppose he is older and without Wiley around he has no one else. His female has to fill that gap as best as a female is able. He would tell you it would be better if she wasn'tso kissy,  kissy, or if she would leave his claws long...I clipped them a couple of days ago...but he has to accept that it is just him and myself. I would have Wiley back too, if we could.

Hold on tight. The election results must be counted soon and life in the USA can settle down again.

Kabu, Good Morning! I hope you do have warmer weather coming your way for the weekend.  We are supposed to have warmer weather over the weekend.  Roy of course will be working on the leaves.  I'm so glad the election is over but I'm not sure of the results yet.  They are still counting votes.  Thank you so much for thinking of all of us.  It's been an election like I've never seen before and I think books will be written about it.  I'm not going to read them because I've had to live through it and that was enough for me.  I hope you have a wonderful day!

I'm hoping that people heal quickly after the election. It's a nailbiter right now.

Stay safe and warm. We had those chilly days too, but now it is warm.

It is sweet that you are hoping for the best for our country. God knows that we need it. As Pat_B stated, Divine intervention is much needed at this point.

Keep safe.  Keep warm.  Keep praying.  The harsh reality of winter is long, but spring will come.

Thank you for your prayers. I've got a hunch we're gonna need a bit

of divine intervention... Hugs to Trish for brightening your days.  I probably shouldn't mention the weather we're having here in Beautiful Downtown Mundane - a high of 70 degrees yesterday, beautiful blue skies and warm sunshine. Considering what's going on with more hurricanes forming and snow in the northern bits it's almost rude to mention it.  Have a great day. Be safe.

Yes, peace to you also, and thank you from the USA. Here, when we'd say South of the Border, we meant Mexcio! lol
