That had to be terrifying to hear shots on your property.

I would post NO TRESPASSING signs, and I would definitely call the police the next time.

How frightening to hear shots! Good that you got inside quickly and set the alarms. What a sweet baby deer! A fawn. Nature is so soothingly beautiful at times. May you be well and be safe!

Our wind was something yesterday, too, 30 to 40 mile an hour gusts. It sure felt like winter.

So great to read your entries again

But I would prefer something else. Something without shots (fireworks or gunshots).

No matter what it was, I'm glad nothing happened to you and Mr. Graysome.

Warm thoughts to you from far, far away.

If it had been here I would have known that it was a firework. Although they are so expensive now that folk usually go to a organized show.  I don't know if they will be allowed this year, I suppose a small fire in the back garden might be the answer.

I don't know if any other country celebrates NOV5  Guy Falkes. Well he did try to blow up the Houses Of Parliament. Good idea not to investgate you have not got Molly the Collie.

Kabu, Oh my!  I know the gunshots scared you and Mr. Graysome.  I would have done exactly what you did.  We live in a village and there's no shooting allowed here but sometimes we do here a shot off in the distance. We have many animals that live here on the property and I would be very sad if someone shot at any of them.  I would also call the police. We feed our birds and our animals and this is where they call home.  They feel safe here and that's the way we like it. I hope this election day is peaceful but it's early so we can only wait and see.  I do hope you have a good day.

Such a pretty little fawn. We get them once in awhile.

I am also hoping that today will be a safe one. Both candidates are ridiculous. We need some fresh ones, but too late for that now.
