A great post Pat history is so often lost these days. Some memories are really what life is about,![](/Blogs/Images/Emoticons/rose.gif)

Fang as you used to call him ....but you were the love of his life. My house here is my home and when the day comes to leave it will be really tough.

Pat thanks for sharing a part of your life. It's a very heartwarming post on your life when your children were small and until they grew up. I loved your housewarming party. It sounds like everyone had fun. I was sorry to hear that you and your husband went your separate ways in 1981. The life you described sounds like the perfect all American life. My boys were in the scouts too. ![](/Blogs/Images/Emoticons/heart.gif)

Everything you described certainly made it a home.
It is no surprise that you would look back on it with fond memories.
