There is nothing better than a great story in print.

I have learned that editing is the next major factor behind a great story. Congrats, and good luck to you on many more.

Good for you! I asked a person I know who had published a book on the order of sonething i’d do, and she said she just started to write, and write, and write - and then it was done! Congratulations to you on your book.

Re:

It's 'kind of' a sappy story, but that was the style of the late 1950/early60's. Capote was one of the first and only prominent actors/writers that was openly gay, so it had some excess to it. The movie is two hours long, but could have easily been made in ninety minutes. It probably would have been a better movie if it had been cut in several places, but.... under all of the glitz, there was this underlying story of a young girl lost. She knew what she wanted to be and she pretended to be that person, but deep inside, Holly Golightly was a girl looking for someone who would love her for simply being her. It was that theme that caught Lisa. Someone in search of finding someone to love her for just being her. There are a lot of people like that in the world right now.

Happily, in the end, Holly found her true love... the guy who was there all along.
