Re: Re: Re:

There is only the two of us and the three dogs. While not we are not piggies, we aren't neat freaks either. It stays relatively decent and clean. We do a once a week all-around cleaning and that works for us. We don't get many to any visitors and those who that do come come just to use the bathroom and maybe the shower. V says we need to put up a taxi meter or a big tin cup in the bathroom. It has a basement that is 40x26 and the main floor is the same plus a two bedroom upper floor. We about have the downstairs bathroom done. It also has a two stall garage that is 26x32. We are cutting that in half to make a set of rooms in the garage for a hottub and pool table. HA! V just came over and told me that I need to cut this into paragraphs and I told him that I don't talk in paragraphs. He looked at me, smiled and told me that I was 'one crazy woman!' LOL he loves me and he knows it.

Re: Re:

Lisa, I'm glad you are going to be toasty warm this winter.  Your house is big! How in the world do you ever keep up with it?

Re:

The hubby has this system of natural gas furnaces that don't require any electricity at all. They have thermostats that turn them on and off and keep the place at the same temperature. The pilot light stays lit and it is a smart way to go with the frequent power outages that come during or after a heavy snow fall. This house is over 2600 square feet big and each area can be as warm or cool as you want it to be. I was amazed how nice it works and so cheap too!

Lisa, I look forward to reading your updates on how things are going.  On cold nights do you turn the furnace on or do you light a fire in a fireplace? We are going to start having some chilly nights here.

Here's a thought; get a notebook or journal and write your gratitude statements in there. You can always pull it out day or night and read it especially during those times you are feeling down.
