Lisa, this is so sad and I feel bad for all of you. I do not think this is going to end well and it's going to be hard on every one that is close to the Mother and son.

I am sorry to read this. I will pray for this situation and OK I am very selfish for I don't want to see your brand new husband undergo what appears to me would be a very scary situation for him, and one with very small chance of success. ( I too am a retired RN.)
