Re:sassyass
Perhaps ideally Mum's won't have to go to work until the children have grown. They could still have a bar.

It was always hard to go back to work and leave the baby especially
if the baby cried and reached for me from the baby sitter's arms. It got easier as they got older and wanted to stay with the sitter and the other kids because things just got to be the most fun when it was time to go home. I admire your ability to tell a story from the character's point of view and with such feeling. Nice work.

It must be hard for a small child to watch her/his mom go off to work. Only 2 kids in my class had mothers who worked - and there were 50 kids in each class! Better if Mum is home back then, and now for most.

I love it. I do feel sad for the little one. I'm so thankful that we were poor people and Mother stayed home to care for us. I loved her being there. No fancy cars, no Nanny. Daddy went to work and made the money for expenses and Mother did everything else.

Somehow I can picture the Royal family children living this way. Available for photos of course.

Ah, that is sad.
On the bright side, I wish that I had an office with a bar.
