Wow, he'd get in trouble over here, shooting in town... Or maybe not, our gun policies are ridiculous.
The wind here has stopped for the moment, after cooling the air by ~20 F degrees.

I'm lucky to have sweetness like the doves and a growing garden, and a sort of quasi bubble with Charlie next door... and so many friends and connections here and there.

I believe we are heading for a dry patch up here. We usually get heaps of rain in June. I will have to water my gardens this evening.

You are right. Fear can wear on nerves and make us raw, even hostile.
It's focusing on things like the life patterns of doves brings a sense of continuity and all's right with the world that we need these days. I was about to say "at times like these" but I do not remember a time quite like this one. Be safe.

I hate winds we are having them it does dry the ground so quickly. I heard a pop yesterday the man next door was shooting at the tame wild pigeons .
I don't think he want to hit one as he would have to put it out of its misery
