Re: Re: Re: my dear big Sis Sea

It does and after repeated readings. Not easy though. Practising with faith and determination without the end results bothering it is achievable. This I am saying from my own experience. It'll still require a lot of time and effort. Thank you wise sister.

Re: Re: my dear big Sis Sea

It must take much study to comprehend fully how to not only look within oneself to see both the serene calmness of the sea within oneself AND to also see and feel the fire of life, and/or vice-versa, to not only see the fire of life from within one's own sea of serenity but to pull it out, channel it, properly and wisely, with humility.

And perhaps at times they are in tandem, though not always.

Re: Re: my dear big Sis Sea

My pleasure. Gita is bit higher then on the intellectual scale of beings.

Re: my dear big Sis Sea

Your fascinated and close reading delights me no end. Even at the cost of repetition I'm posting again with few changes of course, that is because the sea which looks so turbulent from outside with Krishna as if instigating the unwilling Arjuna to fight the battle and kill, but as one progresses one enters into the serene calmness of the deep sea. It is like going inside into the depths of one's being. Thanks a bunch. . Gita is especially designed not for the ordinary folk (you have Ramayana for that, another epic), but for those intelligent beings who can reflect upon the seemingly unfathomable and complex and numinous thoughts.

Re: Corbin

Only the ending of the 'Background' will lead to another, that is, the first and the other 17 chapters of the Bhagavad-Gita where Arjuna gets instructions from Lord Krishna about all those tormenting problems that resides within mankind.

This is so elucidating and a good educational and cultural learning experience. I recall you touched on this before, but perhaps in less detail. Chance does indeed play a part in our lives. Thank you for your posts and I will return to the previous ones soon. Well told for us Westerners.
