Sorry about your bad headache. I've had enough of them in the past to know how they incapacitate one. It is even colder down here in MO--14o F. I'm staying inside and watching out the window my neighbors slip-sliding away as they try to scrape ice off of their windshields or trying even to get the car door open so they can get inside. It rained a lot and blew a lot even before it dropped down past freezing. This is an inside day for me.

My BP has been running about 142/68 the past couple of years.
Only as a passing note, I haven't drank anything since 1972 when I was a 'drunk' for six weeks in college! I saw the stupidity of what I was doing and stopped. At our wedding, my wife and I drank Vernors Ginger Ale while everyone else drank 'other' liquids. My best friend and best man taunted me about it as I was about to give a speech at our wedding reception.
I think this is just a sinus thing complicated by the low pressure system moving in.

Blood pressure issues or sulfites in the wine or beer can cause morning headaches. Hope you feel better.
