Re:

Thank you. I've been 'binging' the entire ER series on Hulu. Having been a paramedic for 12 years, five in a rural setting and seven in Grand Rapids Michigan, working the notorious 'D&W' street area (Division and Wealthy  where all the hookers and drug dealers hung out) and then spent twenty-seven years working as a RN in the ER, it reminds me of all the things I've seen. While that hardly seems like 'therapy,' it helps me draw back to how many of my story plots developed.

I remember the thoughts and shocks I felt as tragedy after tragedy hit the people I served. I've seen more dead and dying people than I ever thought possible to see, short of being a mortician. I think that recalling all of this has loosened emotions I've pent up over the past three years. It was 'ER' that brought attention to the PTSD phenomenon when Dr. Greene was assaulted in the restroom.

The series was as real as television could ever make the ER look. It is helping me.
Thanks for your words and concernt.

We still have no snow here in Pittsburgh which is very unusual this time of year. As for your writer's block, maybe a change of scenery could help with your brain fog. It work's for me. Or you could shift outlets and switch your niche momentarily. I find that reading funky, interesting and out of the box things helps me. Good luck to you.
