Re: Chilly?
This is such a beautiful time of the year. It is cooler, yet still warm. The mornings & evenings are much cooler, yet refreshing. It's a very enjoyable time of year.

Re:
Yes, I agree. Every time you take that walk, it's new and magical if you let it be. Always look for what is different from the first time you walked that trail and I promise you, you will always find something new & interresting.

Re: Questions
I don't mind questions at all! I am quite inquisitive myself! Ask away!

I love walking with an earpiece...I listen to Audible books that are read to me by outstanding readers. As I listen to the books I am absorbing the beautiful surroundings, and getting the exercise I need.

I walk just about every day on a nearby trail. I love seeing the evolution of the trail throughout the seasons.

Re:
Oh, you may get there again as far as walking, but maybe you can't do 2 miles. Maybe you can just walk from your driveway to the next starting out, then a little further, and a little further until you are walking a 1/2 mile. What ever you can do as long as you are moving. Even if you need to use a cane or a walker, get out if you can and just enjoy the fresh air and sunshine. Winter may not be the best time to start though, just saying, lol.

Re: Staying all winter/Bar Harbor
Oh my goodness, yes! Bar Harbor is my old stomping grounds! What a lovely area it was/is! I am so glad that you had an opportunity to visit it.
As far as where I live, yes, we are year arounders, however, we do leave and visit different parts of Florida, travel to the Dominican Republic and Mexico during winter months to get a break from the cold, but for the most part, we live here year around.

A nice place indeed. I used to walk 2 miles a day. Perhaps one day again...

That really sounds nice...Do you all stay up there all winter? I understand that it can get pretty cold up there.
I owned a Motorcoach tour company, retired from it this year. I love the Bar Harbor area and our groups always stayed in Booth Bay Harbor for 4 nights.
