The falling of the rose petal makes me think of Beauty and Beast...Contentment is something that is difficult to achieve.

To trample beauty is sinful....they bear the pain silently...and only a very receptive heart can maybe hear the sounds that surround us.Nice poem.

Yes, I agree with Ciel.  The enchanced auditory perception  does remind one of austism. Nice poem. I had had crocuses accidentally dug up and it was sad. They are lovely.

I think anyone who tramples on defenseless little flowers

is just plain mean. Even the deer will tiptoe around.

Your first bit seems to describe the world that certain autistic people live in: senses heightened to such a degree that normal for us is painful for them. But they hear things we can't, and maybe we could envy some of that.
