Re: Kabu,
Sometimes the interest in family things jumps a generation. I never knew my father's parents, so I am eager to find those photos. I suggest boxing up all the old photos and not throwing them away, but asking some member of the family to hold onto them in trust for those who will want them.

Re: TAPS,
Maybe they don't realize you really do want to pass them along.

I'm in the same place with stuff and photos, things I don't want but I keep thinking someone else might want them sometime. But, it seems the only time anyone shows any interest at all is looking at some when they are at my place. They never take anything with them.

Even though Wiley John is holding his own under the arrangements with home help and my repite weeks. I am downsizing slowly of stuff we just never use, don't need. None of his children want any more photos. I am to throw them away. i just have to get brave to do it.

Re: CCT,
And the older we get, the fewer mouths there are to speak of the past. And there is evidence in these silent old memories many questions that were never asked until too late.

Of course one all was passed down hand to mouth. It is a bit bewildering at times I suspect to confront things as they were. I keep meaning to turf my stuff over. Maybe it is when one has no other option.
