I can't help but thinking of Gabby Giffords, D-AZ who was shot in the head because of political issues. I've read some pretty awful comments about these four women from people who believe that President Trump can do no wrong.

If they are fit too fight they should not be discriminated against. That's what we thought in the WW2. Surprisingly sometimes good intentions do not last.

And because America has led Western society and values for well all my life I suppose, this really evil thinking and action taking is grasping hold of so much of the World. I thought that this was put to sleep years ago with the Freedom Marches, that color and religion had nothing to do with citizenship. In Australia, where I lived the indigenous people were given back their coastal lands, and the best thing that happened to Australia for me was the sudden delicious varieties of foods and restuarants that sprang up everywhere.

I am constantly confounded by what this administration has been allowed to get away with. It all runs absolutely contrary to every thing I was taught about the ethics and morality of a civilized society! But lying and hypocrisy, lack of basic courtesy, immoral assault... All the things I was taught were absolutely wrong, are being ignored, accepted, even boasted of. It is that old horror story of being trapped in an asylum that has been taken over by the most vicious of the inmates!
