Re: TAPS,
I remember the turkey tales! My sister in Estes Park has a night-flying visitor, too. She told me of a time she woke in the night just as the great-horned owl flew over the skylight above her bed.

Re: Kabu,
Delighted to see you here again, though also glad you had that time for yourself!
You have such a lovely realm with all your animal citizens!

OH! dear there were three well fed rats suddenly outside the window. I stopped ground feeding the birds sprayed the ground with Jeyes fluid moved pots so they had no cover installed an electronic bleeper.two humane rat traps .The stuck it one day and then moved on. Saw a field mouse today one is pretty sure there are no rats around. I think a sudden thunderstorm may have flooded their home .

An owl at night. One night I heard something screeching as it was being eaten by the owl. Great big possom walks the night area now and then and raccoons in our trash dumpster. Had a big turkey once but that was years ago now. Oh, and the deer come around at night.

hi love, I am always surrounded by wild birds and small furry creatures. I do put food out for the raccoons but keep the garbage bin in the mud room.
