So much better to chat with your sons than lie awake and
fretting because you can't go back to sleep. Lucky for the birds you've kept the birdseed coming if all the vegetation is ice coated. BTW, saw a story in today's
paper that a coyote was seen and photographed tracking through a neighborhood
in the city of Alton - they're becoming 'urbanized.'

Oh, how fun to chat with your son and family. Years ago I used to keep Himself up late at night chatting with cousins into the wee hours of the morning. This reminded me of the fun we'd all have so long ago. And your birdies are doiing so well. I would fear they'd freeze to death, but they are eating something good and playing in the snow.
