I just wonder if tree will bear next year or if it will take a rest. Like most i am full of good intentions at least i have got a pedaling machine beneath the computer desk.

Yes RP. we usually get large thrushes come down from up north,but so far they have not arrived. Perhaps next week.

Yes...I understand they are forecasting that the Polar Vortex is going to be wobbly this year and colder temps and lost of snow further south of the Arctic Circle...

Corbin just one but more of a ground frost, If it had been severe birds would have taken them. We must beware though The Beast from the East is supposedly arriving soon.

That is a lovely Christmas surprise. Years ago, when my grandmother had my house, she had an apple and a pear tree, but both ended up dying. I'd like to get new ones started again.

We had apples on our tree in the back yard, then something or someone ate them or took them. They are all gone now. We all want to get in better health at this time of the year, it seems.
