It is very sad when a marriage collapses. I feel like social media is making it worse because we find out things we would be expect to be told before they are announced to the world.

TAPS

Yikes! That's a tough way to find out what's happening. In my family I learn to roll with it, whatever "it" may be. I'm sure you do likewise. Still, sometimes family members can rock our world. Peace, and all will be well.

I feel your pain darling because Peter and his life and wife and babies have become important to this old girl over the years too. I prayed every day he was serving his country overseas and ;Baisey; was our blogit baby. Sending you hugs. Lots of hugs.

It might not have hurt any less to learn about the situation in a

more private way, but it might have been a bit less of a shock to the system. Here's wishing all concerned a cordial way of working out the co-parenting and family relationships. Hugs to you, Taps.

People in love or infatuation so often discount how much their actions and decisions affect so many others around them. There are no relationships that do not impact others, cause dismay and pain when they go sideways. But no one knows what really goes on inside other people's relationships, what goes awry... Love insists that we trust them to make the best decisions for them.

Mostly, we have to recognize that our disappointments in others stem from our dreams and expectations that may not be, or ever have been realistic.

Just love them and let their worlds grow as they must.

Goodness,  That is one hell of a way to find out about something so private blaring out to the world.....We're getting old and watching the end of respect, tact, and honor.
