I have a laptop Ciel but I do prefer the biggy 32'' screen . I could not resist it but it does place two pages of word side by side. Well because I am too lazy to change to the single version. perhaps the bigger fish thinks the little uns are its offspring.

Yes, I have been through several notebook type laptops, and this one, the 17 incher, is really heavy, too. It worked fine, but my son in law was a bit agog at it, and so gave me his notepad he no longer needed. Now I travel with that, but it isn't good at photos so much.
New ones always are such a hassle to learn new systems and to transfer old files. I have an external hard drive now which makes that much easier!

Safe travels, good weather. Issiquah...Years since I heard that name.
I miss seeing the occasional totem pole in neighborhoods and small fringe towns as I drive. And the native-run gift shop in the Public Market area where I got a Raven clan pendant.

Did this not happen to you a while back? The cord breaking, or was it that you didn't bring it to England? Either way, I'm sorry. My laptop was over 8 years old and had been resurrected twice from the big memory circuit in the sky, but I finally had to get a new one a few months ago. I hope you enjoy the updated one. And have a great trip and a wonderful Mother's Day.
