I'm fortunate, I don't usually have people that anger or irritate me. I'm a blend of young at heart & old soul, openminded, inquisitive (love to learn about & understand, pretty much, everything), have diverse interests, etc. Because of these things, I tend to get along with most people. If things end, it's their choice, not mine.

I have had to do business with a lot of people that I would never associate with in my private life. I also have had to cull out a lot of people from my private life as my situations have changed. I made a list of those that irritated me the most by the numbers and began to eliminate them. Life is too short to put up with people who anger or irritate you.

I've had others let the friendship fade away. It certainly wasn't my choice. I don't know if it was a complete burning bridges. It is difficult, though, when we don't have any say in the matter.

Yes I burned the bridge with my so called brother. I have no desire to ever have him in my life again. I see and hear how he continually hurts and abuses people without a thought of remorse. Usually in the name of money.

Life has many mysteries, and bridges are one of them, broken, I mean, but it does go on, and when when we are thankful, it becomes a prayer.

No. Bridges that have been burned by someone else while I stood there helpless to do anything about it for the greater good of others. It is tough and I like your concept better for it does leave an opening.
