I looked at those sites but as Nautikos would say they are busy praising themselves and are not going to report anything that might make a person stop and think.

Whatever it is junk mails can at times not be made out but that the two of you give without qualms must be silenly blessing u on donating alms.

Are there any websites up there to rate or reveal the amount that actually is given out to help the needy/

In America, we receive those begging letters. I am gathering that in Canada, it is much bigger in your mailstream.
I am very ware of who I give to.

I did notice that very soon over here the charities will have to get permission to contact donors. It should cut down on a lot of junk mail. Please support my Charity for Homeless Gnomes. Sorry it must be in Fairy Gold.

It is a delimma isn't it. So sad that giving people have to worry about the fact that they give, and not that they don't give.

Oh, all of your post didn't show until just now. Just the title! Well, I'm sure you and Wiley have given much in the course of your lifetime. I learned long ago to watch where donations went.

I am standing next to your soap box, applauding and yelling....
Yay!!! Every time you donate to one of the big worthy charities the suckers share your contact info and the next week you get a dozen more begging letters, often with free stickers or cards you don't want and won't use. I, too, donate where I know it will meet the needs of people rather than line the pockets of the charity's CEO...
