If we find another planet some day that is inhabitable maybe we will leave this beautiful place a garbage heap with a few like me who would not want to go and go ahead and ruin that one too. Humans seem to be driven by greed. What starts out as a process to improve the standards of living for we humans becomes destructive to so much else both Flora Fauna.

I don't think we can ruin this planet, only make it uninhabitable for ourselves. But the Earth has recovered from as bad and maybe worse.

Yes cut down a tree and plant an acorn. I suppose it time the Earth heals or has healed itself. Although now all the hidden assets of millions of years are being taken for the benefit of the present life force. I expect in time we shall have to plunder other planets to keep this planet viable.
