aww... poor kitty.  don't feel too badly.  Two nights ago, I inadvertently locked my sweet cat in the basement over night and didn't realize until about noon the next day. He always sleeps at the foot of the bed, and I thought it was odd, but I assumed he was under the bed as he does during storms...

He had no food or litter box down there and I don't understand why he didn't scratch at the door or cry at the top of the stairs.  When I went looking for him, I found him sitting on the treadmill, and he wouldn't move.  I had to pick him up to bring him upstairs.  He recovered quickly, but I still feel horrible...

Kabu

I sure hope you apologized to Mr. G, and I also hope that Wiley's arm has improved...

This post made me smile. It sounds like Mr Grayson is very forgiving and eager now to please. That is the beauty of pets……their unconditional love.

Please give Wiley my greetings and well wishes. I am very sorry for his struggle

Also your words about the delicious coffeee have me wanting now to climb out of bed to brew mine 😊

Kabu

I hope Wiley is okay. And I hope you get some good sleep tonight. As far as Mr. G, he knows what gets him in time out. But the 'gift' was something else! What a time of it all for you.

Are cats as forgiving as dogs? If so, you are already pardoned your reaction to his gift. Probably were pardoned as soon as you let him back in the room anyway, LOL! Are Bro's legs acting up again? Or did he trip over something? Hope he's feeling better.

Re: Kabu

Poor Wiley, I think the pills make one unsteady , I will never let one cat stay inside even if I have to rig a heater up in one of the smaller greenhouses . Try to get some sleep if you can, I would get a cat cage if the little guy gets too bossy.

I hope that Wiley is feeling better after his fall.

The gray furball is lucky you didn't banish him to the great outdoors

where coyotes lurk... You were absolutely right to assert your dominance, your Wonder Woman authority - and he was 100% wrong to make such a pest of himself. But I know how you feel... He'll get over it.

I can totally relate to your annoyance with Mister Graysome's attentions: Embers walks up and down me, pointy little feet hitting all the tender spots and nerve endings, then lays down on my highest point, usually my shoulder when I am sleeping, and begins to pet my cheek until I pet her back. What I really can't abide is when she licks my face with her soft, warm, wet little tongue. Some night, I really will evict her from the room and close the doors.
