Re: Justi
Well years ago my mum used to say. Oh!dear I can't do any work in my garden people keep stopping and want to talk to me. 'I'll try to take a photo of the little stall where the flowers are sold. I don't really make any profit, but it just keep's one on one's toes. Yes it was a true little story,if I had played my cards right. Well George did.

I just imagine how wonderful that maze of gardens is where you have so many flowers and vegetables growing. I would love to see it. Take some photogrphs. I always love your stories particularly when you throw monkey wrenches into them near the end. Could she cook fish? Be blessedGeorge sends his best to you.

Re: Whenever you gring up the idea of sweet peas
You Mum loved her garden, I expect she could have shown some of these so called experts a thing or two. She knew one had to keep cutting or they go to seed . I expect also your garden was rich in natural goodness.

Re:
Well I have tried trout I think it still tastes a bit muddy. Arthur only uses barbless hooks so he puts his catch back into lake, probably the trout is then a bit wiser. Well a salmon was the crowning glory for you ,I bet.

Re:Naut
Yes flowers are a pain in the neck sometimes, it makes me shudder to see little children handling flowers from the supermarket that are listed to give one dermatitis. .Thank you for the poem.

Re: black cat
Well went mad and bought maybe 150. I somehow don't think they are worth the worry.
Canna lilies appear to be OK ,but they only bloom for a day. The florist want the lilies but it would be on my conscience.

Re:
No don't be facetious Kabu. Now do you know one can now get lilies that do not have pollen. Also some lilies are edible. I don't think your Peace lily is a good guy. Look it up if you do not believe me. It is listed under poisonous plants not good either for cats or dogs. listed as 3 and 4 a bit nasty.

I cannot have any Lilly other than Peace lilies around inside. They make me quite ill.
So having drunk the bottle of juice did you then drink for glasses of water for every gulp. Swish Swash as he walks along!!!!

I've never cooked a trout, I've never even caught one. All we seem to have in our river that runs through it is Mud Cat and who wants to cook and eat that. I did once catch a very large salmon off the coast of Oregon. I know how to cook salmon.

Whenever you gring up the idea of sweet peas
I think of how Mama made a web between two upright poles using salvaged cord from wrapped packages tied between them - she made notches in the wooden poles to anchor the string and keep the loops from slipping as the growing pea vines added weight. In time it became a wall of blossoms, handy enough for her to reach and clip the blooms and keep them coming for a long time. I don't think she sold them, but I remember there being vases of them on the table from time to time.
