Who could forget a name like Jarbidge?
When my folks and their friends went on a wine tour of NY State, they passed a sign pointing to a place they'd never visited, and Mom said, 'Let's go see Awzable Chazim!"
What people in the area call Ausable Chasm... O-sable kasm. Their friend who was driving had to pull over until he could stop laughing.

Oh such sweet memories. With my Dad having just passed, I have been thinking back on the past also, going through pictures. Maybe I will do as you, and take a picture and a time and write about it. Something to think about anyway. Thank you for the great post!
