I love that quote... it's how I feel about my brother most days.

Kabu

I really hate commenting on family stuff, so let me just say I'm sure she means well...

I have a few family members who are that way, wanting to interject themselves into things...You sound like you have a good plan.

Kabu dear

Do only whatever you decide and think best. and the decision should not interfere with your independence.

I think I would echo Ciel's comment.

I'm sure she feels that she is qualified to plan out your choices and decisions, and has the best interests of who she thinks you are, in mind. Some people we most wish could understand us, never can, never will, and we just have to let them be who they are while we remain who we are.

Kabuiepie;-)

Seems she never approved of you  no matter what was transpiring. In her own way she loves you.

Kabu

It's a cop-out but I agree with the two previous posts. Also, I think she is yearning for a closeness with you, but on her terms. I wonder, is she happy? She will learn, you and she will get get along on mutual terms, but I do think she loves you, dear Sister.

It's good that she cares, sounds like she needs to be needed.

But the situation she suggests is a long, long way off. No need to put the cart ahead of the horse... Hugs.

I suppose in her mind you are still her baby sister. Meanwhile you have changed a myriad times and the old ways have gone forever. I do hope Wiley will be OK., he has the best chance in the world with you to care for him.
