People don't want full grown ones, they like kittens. Funny thing it goes off somewhere at times and I wonder its owners have dog that worries it. Not many around like you who would give an old cat a home.

I think I would prefer a not so friendly critter. At the onset it was very nervous and would run away but it was pinching the hedghog's food by putting a paw through a hole in in the feeding container.

All the cats that I have had have been discreet , they have eaten a meal and then done their own thing. Anyway it might be some poor old dear's who is lamenting the loss or can't afford to feed such a greedy rascal. .

Yes I do it it a stroke RP. Well I had to change the poem a little bit it was far too cheeky for blogit although I did smile at the original. If you can discover the two alternative words to pullover and the word that rhymed with it please do not put it on blogit.

I pity the cat if it's watching and listening to Arthur run that chain saw... Even if it has an owner, it wouldn't hurt to pet it a bit and say, 'How are ya doing?' Your poem is sweet with a cute ending; fun to read, but I don't know the answer about rejoining motivation.

I only had one cat in my life, and she was not what I expected. Started
out as my 7-year old daughter's found kitten and was still with me long after my little girl had gone away to college. It would not surprise me if your kitty plays chess.

The cat craves some attention from you. Sir down and pat it rub under the chin. Talk to it. rub the head just behind the ears. more talk that cats like. my fee is in the mail.

Maybe you could introduce that cat to someone who would like to give it a regular home with food and affection. Cats need both. Some cats, more than others, anyway. Maybe this one is asking to be petted or cuddled.
