Flossy?

Kabu, when I read your description of your aunt Flossy, I couldn't help wondering: What made you start writing?

I mean, perhaps she was you personal "kick starter"...?

Kabu

I love hearing about your aunties and family. it reminds me of my own aunties. Thank you for sharing about them, dear Kabu. Also, your comment on my post is much appreciated; it sounds exactly like something my real-life sister would, could, and did say. Sometimes, we in my family (not you) can get ourselves in trouble when we speak true, though we try to temper it. Many, many thanks,S. Sister.

My first husband's mom and her sister married brothers, so my

ex and his sisters had double cousins. They were close as little kids, but one family moved a ways away and I never really got acquainted with them. As for aunties, they are my favorite people. When mom and i weren't getting along, I could always count on my Aunt Ella to cheer me up and make me see both sides of an issue without making me feel dumb. Still miss her & she's been gone for 20 years.
