I'm afraid I've never heard of a Dot device. When I'm on the computer, I pick background music from youtube. They have a lot of choices.

I got myself one of those Amazon Dot devices... "Alexa, play Fairport Convention" "...play Beethoven" "...play medieval music." The fun is remembering what I used to listen to all the time back when it was a turntable and speakers.
Maybe you'd find one of these Dot things useful.

I love the old music, the fiddles and banjo, live is my fave. Jazz
is wonderful, too. But today's stuff - even Adele - irritates my ears for some reason - the singers don't seem to enunciate, the emotion is more a mechanical projection than the heartfelt stuff folks like Patsy Cline used to bring... Thanks for this post!
