We do have plenty of crows around, but this nest is tucked in against the house and under a roof, so I don't think they'll find her. If I notice any shenanigans, though, I will give them a holler!

These early layers are taking a chance . Last year I saw a jackdaw it watched a dove and then robbed the nest. Hope yours is lucky.

oh oh!!! We are on our way. It is so wonderful A couple of years ago we had a nest in the tree outside the window beside Wiley's spot where he sits. One day the bigger baby was really picking on the younger and Wiley opened the window and really told the bully off. We never saw any more trouble. It was all such fun.

I hesitate to tell you how she's going to pay the rent...
But you'll have to scrape it off with a hoe after the little ones learn to fly... I hope you can get some nice photos. :)

That is very kind of you, Ciel. I had a bird last year that had a nest behind my house. Unfortunately, I did not know the bird was there, and scared her away.
